Lesson 10: Health and Emergency

Communication Tips

Japan is said to be one of the safest country in the world. But bad things can happen. You should be careful especially about your money and belongings.

If you have a problem, police can be trustworthy and helpful in general. There are many small police stations in town. They even happily show you the directions.

When you lost your belongings, don't give up and report to the facilities you can think of. The chance to have your lost item returned is actually surprisingly high.

In emergency situations, it is best to ask the local people for the help. They can call an ambulance or the police for you. You may lose your time if you try to do it by yourself.
